There are many different approaches to counseling and coaching. Here is more information about the services and methods we use to serve others.

  • Christ-centered biblical counseling is an approach to counseling that places Jesus Christ at the center of the therapeutic process. It recognizes the authority and sufficiency of the Bible as the foundation for understanding human nature, addressing personal struggles, and promoting spiritual growth. This counseling model acknowledges that all individuals are broken and in need of redemption, and that true healing comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Clinically informed biblical counseling is an approach to counseling that addresses the whole person – body and soul. We believe that God created us as embodied souls and that he cares about our physcial and spiritual wholeness. Through the Biblical lens we value the common-grace of scientific knowledge enabling us to provide holistic and comprehensive care for individuals facing emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges.

    In this counseling model, trained professionals apply evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions through the framework and interpretive grid of biblical wisdom and principles. Counselors aim to address clients’ physiological (body, mind and soul) needs while considering their spiritual beliefs and values. This approach acknowledges the complexity of human experiences and seeks to provide guidance, support, and healing in a manner that aligns with an individual’s faith and spirituality.

  • Yes! We offer a trauma-informed biblical counseling approach that recognizes the impact of trauma on individuals and incorporates trauma-sensitive principles within a biblical framework. It acknowledges the prevalence and effects of trauma, such as abuse, neglect, or other distressing experiences, on a person’s emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being.

    In trauma-informed biblical counseling, counselors are trained to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes healing and avoids retraumatization. They work with clients to develop a deep understanding of the trauma’s impact, helping them process their experiences, address the associated emotional and spiritual wounds, and find hope and restoration through biblical truths.

    This approach acknowledges the importance of compassion, empathy, and sensitivity in working with trauma survivors. It emphasizes the need to integrate biblical teachings, such as God’s love, grace, and redemption, into the therapeutic process, fostering resilience and spiritual growth.

  • Biblical counseling addresses a wide range of human struggles and challenges across various aspects of life. Some of the common struggles addressed in biblical counseling include:

    Emotional struggles: This includes issues like depression, anxiety, anger, grief, and low self-esteem. Biblical counseling helps individuals navigate these emotions and find healing and restoration through biblical principles.

    Relational conflicts: Biblical counseling addresses challenges in marriages, families, friendships, and other relationships. It provides guidance on communication, forgiveness, reconciliation, boundaries, and resolving conflicts in a manner consistent with biblical teachings.

    Addiction and destructive behaviors: Biblical counseling offers support and guidance for individuals struggling with addictions, substance abuse, compulsive behaviors, and harmful habits. It seeks to address the root causes and provide strategies for overcoming these challenges through a biblical lens.

    Biblical counseling takes a comprehensive approach, addressing the physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual aspects of individuals’ lives, seeking to promote holistic well-being and growth.

  • Fees for counseling and coaching vary depending on type and duration. One hour sessions are between $125-$150 per session.

    For those not able to afford the costs, We recommend you talk to your church leadership to see if they have funds set aside for counseling. Also, a limited number of scholarships are also available.

  • You will pay for your session at the time you book it.

  • We understand that unexpected events occur. However, sessions cancelled with 24-hour notice can be rescheduled with no additional fee.

    Cancellations day of will be assessed a $50 fee unless there is a legitimate emergency.

  • We are not currently accepting any healthcare insurance. Therefore, our clients are expected to make a full payment for our services at the time of booking.

  • Since we are not clinical therapists, we do not hold the credentials to provide a diagnosis. We are able and very happy to provide referrals for this service.

  • Our counseling practices are saturated with Biblical truth, and we believe these truths are universal and can have a profound impact on your life (especially if other treatment hasn’t been effective). Also, because of our specialty in Neurolinguistic Solutions-Focused coaching, we are able to provide sessions for those who do not consider the Bible authoritative.

  • When you book a virtual session, a zoom link will be provided for you. Please make a note of it or save it in your calendar if the calendar invite doesn’t automatically populate. At the time of the session, you will just click the link to begin. You can always contact us if you need any assistance.
